Train45 All Chest Locations
Train45 hides chests in 14 of the 57 anomaly cars plus the Butler Shop and the Lost & Found Center. This page lists every chest, what it contains, and the chapter window when it can be opened.
How Chests Work
Most chests are off-screen behind the passenger seats or under the luggage rack. They glow faintly when a Flashlight or higher-tier perception gear is equipped. Some chests require a specific affinity level to open — opening a chapter-5 chest in chapter 2 is a soft-lock that closes the chest until you revisit the car.
Chest content is fixed per save file (no random drops), so a guide-walked run guarantees every item. The reward table below reflects the v1.0.5.1 release build.

Butler Shop Chests (repeatable)
The Butler Shop sells tiered chests in addition to its regular stock. Shop chests restock every 30 minutes of in-game exploration time:
- Cheap Charm — 3 tickets, +12 Butler affinity, unlimited stock.
- Dim Red Lamp — 5 tickets, +5 Mai affinity, unlimited stock.
- Lipstick — 12 tickets, +5 Butler affinity, 2 per cycle.
- Ancient Record Tablet — 20 tickets, +15 Konial affinity, 1 per cycle.
Spend priorities: Cheap Charm → Ancient Record Tablet → Dim Red Lamp. Lipstick is the lowest efficiency ticket purchase.
Lost & Found Center
The Lost & Found Center is a non-anomaly car (car 13 after chapter 4). It contains 11 hidden boxes that contribute to the Recovered every lost item achievement (51.27% global). Boxes do not require affinity but do require the Flashlight perception gear equipped.

14 chest cars in the main game plus the Butler Shop chest stock and 11 Lost & Found Center boxes. Roughly 25 total chest interactions across a full run.
Do chests respawn?
No. Each chest is single-loot per save file. Butler Shop chests restock on the 30-minute cycle but cost tickets each time.
Can I miss a chest?
Yes. Date-locked chests (Torn Fan, Slow Zone notice) require reaching the car in a calendar window. Affinity-locked chests (Mai Lv6, Rei Lv7) require the right companion at the right level. The Anomaly Checklist tracks which you have opened.
Do chests sync between save slots?
No. Chest state is per-save-file. Steam Cloud syncs each slot independently, so a True Ending run cannot inherit a chest opened in a Reina Happy run.
