Train45 Prize Machines Guide
Capsule machines sit in rest-point and special cars. They eat the same ticket pile as the owl stall, but they do not sell terminal hints. Steam calls the full set Mind Your Belongings. Mix them up with Everything Sold Out and you will starve Dim Red Lamp money in chapter 3.
What the Machines Actually Sell
Prize machines are collection gacha, not the butler catalog. Pulls drop mementos, gag items, and duplicate cosmetics. They never replace shop SKUs such as Dim Red Lamp, Used Lipstick, or Lost Item Hint -1- / -2- / -3-. The achievement Mind Your Belongings tracks unique prizes from these machines only. Everything Sold Out still means every stall listing, including the three map hints and capacity packs — see the Butler Shop catalog.
All Clear! is a third pile: hidden seats, anomaly chests, and route-only pickups. Lost-item boxes are a fourth pile (eleven boxes from chapter 4). Keep four checklists, not one. Pair this page with the 20 Steam achievements table and the 100% guide.
Machines restock as chapters open. First-run cars can look empty if you walk past the capsule without interacting. Route revisits with perception gear still help you find leftover machines, but they will not invent shop items inside the gacha pool.
Ticket Order: Perception First
Tickets have four pickup grades (junk 1, normal 2, gold 3, platinum 4) and one wallet. Early gold belongs on Dim Red Lamp or Single Earbud, then terminal hints 9–19. Palulu Cola and Lipstick wait until you are tired of searching. Prize pulls wait until chapter 4 income or a dedicated cleanup run.
A common wipe is dumping chapter-2 tickets into capsules, then being unable to buy the Padlock / Slow Zone / clock hints. Guessing destination 9–19 without the matching hint usually fails even if you already know the numbers from a wiki. Buy the hint, type the code from Puzzle Solutions.
HowLongToBeat still lists about 3 hours for story, 6 with extras, 10 if you already chase completion. Prize completion sits in the extras / completionist bucket. First playthrough advice: one romance, OMEGA before Konial’s Memo, gacha later — First Playthrough.
How to Finish Mind Your Belongings
- Clear every rest-point and special car you pass; interact with each capsule once so the machine is marked visited.
- Do not confuse duplicates with “still missing.” Unique prizes pop the achievement; extras only drain tickets.
- After chapter 5 terminals raise income, run a prize pass before you spend 8-31-45-54 if you want the achievement on the same credits.
- If the achievement does not pop, you are missing a machine on a revisit car, not a twelfth lost-item box. Lost & Found Center is a different Steam row.
As of 20 August 2026 the named patch is still v1.0.5.1. Silent 5 August depot builds do not add extra prize SKUs. Confirm Steam → Properties → Updates before copying month-old videos. Scene footage: video walkthrough.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do prize machines sell terminal hints?
No. Hints for destinations 9–19 are butler shop purchases. Gacha never unlocks a phone-map code.
Is Mind Your Belongings the same as Everything Sold Out?
No. Belongings is every unique capsule prize. Sold Out is every stall SKU, including lost-item hints you might never use.
Should I pull on the first rest point?
One cheap pull is fine if you want the tutorial feel. Do not empty chapter-1–2 wallets before the Dim Red Lamp and the first shop hints.
Can I finish prizes after the true ending?
Yes via route revisits. Finish them before the Memo route only if you want the achievement on the same first credits.
