Train45 embeds real-world Japanese festival timing into several companion scenes. Some scenes only fire when you reach a specific car during the matching calendar week. This page lists every festival-tied event, the route it needs, and the date window.
How Festival Timing Works
Train45 reads your system clock for several seasonal scenes. The events fire when:
- You reach the required car (route code or story trigger).
- The system date is within the festival window.
- Companion affinity is at the right level.
Missing the date window means the scene does not fire — there is no in-game replay unless you change your system clock. The August 2026 promised event-dialogue replay feature would fix this once shipped.

Tanabata Details
The Lover's Letter numbered item 02 ties directly to Tanabata timing. Read 9-16-29 in the snow on car 36, then ride the Strong AC Car. If your system clock is in the July window, a Tanabata CG plays instead of the standard snow scene.
Outside July, the CG is generic snow — the Tanabata dialogue only fires in-window.
Why Players Miss Festival Scenes
Most festival scenes are one-shot. If your first Tanabata falls in chapter 1 and you have not reached car 36 yet, you cannot revisit it without a New Game Plus. The August 2026 update was meant to add an in-game replay menu, but it has not shipped yet.
Workaround: if you own multiple save files, you can switch to an earlier save where the date window is still active. The Event Dialogue Replay guide covers current workarounds.
