Train45 Chapter-by-Chapter Progression

Chapter Map at a Glance

The table mirrors the JP Gamerch progression chart and the Steam Community "Visit 5+ terminals" achievement thread. Use it as a checklist alongside the Anomaly Checklist.

Chapter 1 — Foundations

Cars 5–12. The chapter opens with the talk-gate tutorial — visit the rest car first to unlock the chat prompt. Players who skip the rest car often mistake the silent companion line for a v1.0.5.1 bug.

• First chest: car 7 (Mai cat costume hint).
• Reina Lv1: triggered automatically after car 5 investigation. No choice required.
• First tickets: earned from successful investigations. Spend on Cheap Charm at the Butler Shop.

Chapter 2 — Companion Routes Open

Cars 13–22. The dim red lamp and beer can items arrive, opening the Reina and Mai routes.

• Beer Can: Break Room car via route 13-14-30-5. Required for Lover's Letter in chapter 3.
• Dim Red Lamp: buy from Butler Shop (5 tickets). Opens Mai's first dialogue choice.
• Mai Lv2: triggered by the Inspection Report -3- item, found in the Malfunction Car chest.

Reaching Lv2 by the end of chapter 2 unlocks the per-level scene window in chapter 4. Missing this is recoverable on revisit routes.

Chapter 3 — Pazuzu Route

Cars 23–34. Pazuzu's storyline opens with her wallet, found hanging on a hook in car 36.

• Pazuzu's Wallet: car 36, chapter 3. Without it, the Justice ending cannot trigger.
• Snow Woman: car 36, route 9-16-29. The Lover's Letter event requires bringing the Beer Can to Snow Woman.
• Giant Konial chest: car 33, chapter 3 chest reward.

Chapter 4 — The Bracelet Window

Cars 35–45. The Copper Bracelet unlocks at the end of the chapter and is the keystone item for True Ending.

• Copper Bracelet: received from the Butler after car 38. Equip immediately. +10 Konial affinity per car while equipped.
• Reina Lv5 scene: car 8 (Flight). Trigger requires reaching Lv5 by the chapter 4 window.
• Bunny Girl: car 45, requires Mai Lv3+ AND the Pachinko route 46-45-31 to be queued.

Missing the Lv5 window locks the per-level scene permanently. Plan to grind Reina affinity from chapter 2 onward.

Chapter 5 — OMEGA Prep

Cars 46–52. Konial's Lv2 affection unlocks the OMEGA item and the True Ending route becomes visible on the phone map.

• Konial Lv2: Copper Bracelet exploration × 3 successful runs.
• Xiao Ke OMEGA: reward from Konial's Lv2 dialogue. One-time item.
• Mai Bunny Girl CG: triggered via the Pachinko route, requires Mai Lv6.

Chapter 6 — Finale Branches

Cars 53–57. The finale chapter branches on the engine-room choice:

• True Ending: queue 8-31-45-54 with OMEGA equipped. Spend Memo on OMEGA option. Unlocks Memory Room and epilogue CG.
• Destined End: queue the Control Room without OMEGA. Spend Memo on Angel lever option.
• Companion endings: triggered by the per-companion finale branches. Reina, Mai, Pazuzu, Butler each have a unique branch reachable from Lv7.

Save the file before the engine room choice. The game overwrites the save after the ending credits — you cannot retry a different ending without the Save Files backup procedure.
