Train45 All Puzzle Solutions — Complete Route Table

Train45 contains 19 terminal destination puzzles. Each requires registering specific car numbers on the phone map. Some puzzles give numbers directly; others hide them in item sprites, wall markings, or environmental clues. This page documents every solution with the solving logic so the puzzles make sense instead of feeling like a random number list.

How Puzzle Routes Work

Most Train45 puzzles ask you to connect a clue to one or more train cars. You then register those car numbers on the phone map to reach the terminal destination.

The order of registered car numbers usually does not matter — any order that includes the correct cars will work. The exceptions are Groper Warning (any 3 of 5) and Konial's Memo (specific order 8-31-45-54).

When solving puzzles, follow three steps: read the clue carefully, look for words matching car names or themes, and inspect item sprites since several answers hide directly on the object image.

Puzzle Type Explanations

Direct Number Clue

Some puzzles state the numbers directly in the clue text. Register them as written.

  • The Path to the Storage: "Pass through cars 3, 4, and 5" — register 3, 4, 5.
  • Train Inspection Report -3-: Lists accident sites 7, 22, 24, 32 directly.

Phrase Matching

Match descriptive phrases to related anomaly car names.

  • Dark Room Memo: "Heading reverse" → Car 10 Reverse. "Green light" → Car 3 Button. "Bound body" → Car 41 Bondage. "Birds outside" → Car 2 Crow.
  • Slow Zone Notice: Priority seating → Car 44 Priority Seat. Tactile paving → Car 29 Tactile Paving. Low speed zone → Car 18 Low Speed.

Item Sprite Clue

Several puzzles hide the answer directly on the item sprite — inspect items carefully.

  • Dog Collar: Numbers above the holes on the collar item give 6-17-23-28.
  • Black Bikini: Route numbers are visible on the item sprite itself.
  • Empty Milk Bottle: Numbers printed on the bottle (may appear upside-down).
  • Validated Ticket: Punched holes on flipped tickets give 23, 47, 50 — read "Ticket" upside-down as the orientation clue.

Environmental Clue

Return to a specific anomaly or terminal to find wall codes or numbers written in the environment.

  • Hot Spring Car: Wall code 54 found at the terminal. Used in the final Engine Room puzzle.
  • Pachinko / Collab Car: Wall code 45 found at the terminal. Also used in the final Engine Room puzzle.
  • Lover's Letter: Bring the Empty Beer Can to the Snow Woman car (36) — the numbers 9, 16, 29 are written in the snow.

Date or Time Clue

Convert dates or times to car numbers.

  • Torn Fan: Event running "18th to 21st" — register 18, 19, 20, 21.
  • Door Repair Notice: Odd months March–July → 3, 5, 7.
  • Broken Clock: Clock shows 1:20:40, is 3h15m fast → correct time 10:05:40 → cars 10, 5, 40.

Cipher / Wrap Pattern

Rod and Rope: Imagine wrapping the rope around the triangular prism rod. Numbers on the same face as 33 are 33, 36, and 41.

Flexible Category Route

Groper Warning: Any 3 of the 5 matching cars (6, 32, 34, 38, 49) complete the route. You do not need all five.

Final Engine Room Puzzle — Konial Memo

Konial's Memo is the final and most complex puzzle in Train45. It requires information from three earlier terminals.

  1. Roulette / Collab Car (46-45-31): Find the wall code 45 at this terminal.
  2. Hot Spring Car (1-15-27): Find the wall code 54 at this terminal.
  3. Poster near Butler: The date written is 8/31 — the final two numbers.

The complete Engine Room route is 8, 31, 45, 54. Register in that order on the phone map.

Before using this route, ensure you have the Copper Bracelet equipped, have raised Konial's affection to Lv2, and have Xiao Ke OMEGA in your inventory. See the Konial True Ending Route guide for the full sequence.

Troubleshooting — Why a Route Does Not Work

If a route does not unlock, the problem is usually one of these:

  1. Missing the related clue item or memo. Some routes require the hint item (Flyer, Dog Collar, Pachinko Flyer) before the terminal accepts the code.
  2. Terminal not unlocked by story progress. Some terminals only appear after chapter 4 or 5.
  3. Car Navigation unavailable. If the Copper Bracelet is equipped, phone navigation is disabled. Unequip it before entering route codes.
  4. Wrong item sprite orientation. Dog Collar, Black Bikini, and Empty Milk Bottle all require reading the numbers at the correct rotation.
  5. Demo save flag. Routes unlocked on a Demo save do not persist to the full release after v1.0.4.2.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the final Engine Room route code?

The complete route is 8, 31, 45, 54. It requires wall code 45 from the Collab Car terminal, wall code 54 from the Hot Spring Car terminal, and the date 8/31 from the poster near the Butler.

Why does the Groper Warning accept any 3 cars?

The Groper Warning describes exposure-themed anomaly cars. Five cars match: 6, 32, 34, 38, and 49. Registering any three of these five satisfies the terminal — you do not need all five.

How do I read the Dog Collar numbers?

Inspect the Dog Collar item sprite carefully. The numbers above the holes on the collar give the route: 6, 17, 23, 28. The collar sprite is small — zoom in if needed.

Does the order of car numbers matter?

For most puzzles, no — any order of the correct cars works. The two exceptions are Konial Memo (must be 8-31-45-54 in order) and Groper Warning (any 3 of the 5 matching cars).

Why is my Padlock route not working?

The Padlock requires starting at dial position 4, then applying the Flooding car wall pattern: left 2, right 4, left 3, right 6. This gives cars 13, 2, 1, 8. Also confirm you have the Broken Key item — it is required to enter this terminal.
