Train45 Artbook & Deluxe Edition
Steam sells one paid extra: Train 45 Artbook. The Deluxe Edition bundle is the base game plus that artbook. Neither SKU adds a 58th anomaly car or a third story finale. Treat it as illustration, not a patch.
What You Are Buying
The base game listed at about $10.99 (Japan store often ¥1,870) includes the full campaign, 20 Steam achievements, five romance targets, and Japanese voice. The Train 45 Artbook DLC is about $4.99 and launched with the game on 25 June 2026. Publisher pages still show a two-item Deluxe bundle: game + artbook.
The artbook is adult illustration and setting art for Reina, Mai, Konial, Pazuzu, the butler, and train interiors. It does not inject new terminals, prize SKUs, or Event Gallery pages. Gallery Ghost H still needs the true ending on v1.0.4.2 or later — Event Gallery.
Family Sharing applies to the DLC the same way Steam documents other extras: the account that owns the artbook enables it. Confirm the extra under Steam → Library → Train45 → Properties → DLC before assuming a missing file is a bug.
How to Open the Files
After the DLC shows as installed, open Steam → Train45 → Manage → Properties → Installed Files → Browse. Artbook documents live in the install folder as extra media (PDF or image set, depending on the depot). Copy them out if you want to read off-Steam. There is no in-game “Artbook” button on the title screen as of v1.0.5.1.
If Properties → DLC is unchecked, Steam will not download the extra. Deluxe buyers who only see the base game should verify the bundle contents on the store receipt, then enable the DLC checkbox and let the client fetch it.
Elniko’s Ci-en creator page (ci-en.dlsite.com/creator/26377) is the studio support / fanbox-style hub Gamerch lists alongside Steam. It is not a second storefront for the artbook on PC — buy the DLC on Steam if you play the Steam build.
What It Does Not Change (20 August 2026)
Named changelog is still Patch Note 3 / v1.0.5.1 (14 July): Steam Deck Verified, gamepad UI, CRT filter. Public branch last moved 5 August (community v1.0.5.3). No Patch Note 4. The 27 July letter’s event-dialogue replay is still not in the named feed. Owning the artbook does not skip OMEGA, the lever, or Route Master.
Recent Steam reviews (last 30 days) sit around 1,018 at ~97% Overwhelmingly Positive. English-language reviews are a smaller Very Positive slice. Lifetime volume remains in the 3,100+ band the July 220,000-copy letter implied. None of those numbers are DLC gated.
Play the campaign first. If you want production sketches after credits, buy the artbook. If you want 100% Steam rows, follow 100% Completion and True Ending instead.
