The clock hint is the most misread shop item in August 2026. Boards still search 3:15, 3小时15分, and 壊れた時計. The watch is fast by three hours and fifteen minutes — that math is cars 10-5-40, not a time of day.

Buy the Hint, Then Do the Math

Item 01 in the numbered shop list is the Broken Clock (壊れた時計). Buy it from the butler (~1,500 tickets) before you type a code. Destinations 9–19 reject guesses even when this page already printed the numbers.

The pocket watch shows 1:20:40. Community and v1.0.4.3’s Japanese hint agree: the clock runs 3 hours 15 minutes fast, not “set to 3:15.” Subtract 3h15m:

Queue 10-5-40 (Reverse / retrograde, Window, Oral). Destination is the Passing / Overtake Car. First visit grants the Silent Alarm Clock and +6 equipment capacity. Silent Alarm is a ticket-farm timer later — Ticket Farming.

Why v1.0.4.3 Touched This Hint

Patch Note 2 / v1.0.4.3 (7 July 2026) rewrote the Japanese clock-endpoint hint after players treated “3 hours 15 minutes” as a clock reading. Chinese and Korean dialogue typos were cleaned in the same patch. The public named build is still v1.0.5.1 as of 30 August 2026; the math did not change.

If Exploration Failure Hints are on (Options → Gameplay, added in v1.0.2), a failed overtake attempt can nudge you back toward the subtraction. Turn them off for a hardcore run. Lipstick painting the wrong tiles was a different v1.0.4.3 fix — update before you blame the clock.
