Train45 Updates & Patch Notes
Train45 launched on Steam June 25, 2026. Elniko’s last named changelog is still Patch Note 3 / v1.0.5.1 (14 July). This page keeps that history, then records what changed by 26 August 2026 — review volume, the 5 August silent public-branch bump, the still-pending event-dialogue replay, and the late-2026 sequel / new project reveal promised in Elniko’s 27 July letter.
Latest Patch: v1.0.5.1 (July 14, 2026)
Version v1.0.5.1 is the current Steam build as of mid-July 2026. This update focuses on handheld play, display options, and controller UX polish.
Steam Deck support: Train45 is now fully playable using only Steam Deck controls or a gamepad. All keyboard and mouse UI prompts automatically switch to gamepad button icons when a controller is active.
CRT Filter: A new option under Options → Gameplay lets you enable a retro CRT scanline overlay with an adjustable intensity slider — ideal for pixel-art fans on both desktop and Deck.
Bug fixes: Adjusted the Walking Penis enemy movement range in its dedicated stage to prevent off-screen collision issues.
See our Steam Deck & Controller guide for handheld setup tips and recommended Gameplay tab settings.
v1.0.4.3 — Translation & Item Polish
Version v1.0.4.3 is a quality-focused patch polishing translation, puzzle hints, and item behavior without adding major new features.
Optimizations: Adjusted Japanese hint text for the clock endpoint puzzle. Corrected typos in Simplified and Traditional Chinese dialogue. Fixed Korean typos and grammar errors. Reduced minor stutter during dialogue sequences.
Bug fixes: The Lipstick item no longer displays incorrect answer positions during certain anomaly states. Climax animation gauge decrease speed was increased so remaining meters drop faster after H scenes end.
v1.0.4.2 — Event Gallery & Controls Update
Version v1.0.4.2 added the Event Gallery Ghost H scene — after clearing the game, open Event Gallery → Next page → Ghost H to view previously hidden ghost-route scenes.
Auto Play advances dialogue automatically when enabled. Free H Pan Mode lets you move zoomed scenes with Ctrl (keyboard) or L3 (gamepad). Quality fixes include multi-controller recognition, Chinese translation corrections, Torch stage rebalancing, and a fix for falling icicles after the Snow Woman minigame.
See our Event Gallery guide and Controls guide for feature details.
v1.0.2 — Gameplay Settings Update
Update Note 3 introduced a dedicated Gameplay tab in the Options menu (accessible from title screen or pause menu). Key settings added in v1.0.2:
- Train Announcement Frequency — Standard, Extended (3× longer intervals), or Off
- Exploration Failure Hints — Toggle on/off for guided or hardcore investigation
- Spare Panties — Affection bonus now applies to additional characters
- Copper Bracelet — Extended affection bonus now includes Konial
Bug fixes covered incorrect interactive NPCs in certain situations, performance-mode glow effects on button routes, H-scene dialogue skip when mashing advance, and owl butler voice not respecting Voice Volume settings. See our Controls guide for full setting details.
Launch Hotfixes (v1.0.1)
Hotfix 2 added an in-dialogue Options menu — press Esc or the controller equivalent during conversations to adjust settings without leaving the scene (language changes remain title-screen only). It also fixed the Lost and Found Center achievement not unlocking when collecting the final lost item, and removed affinity icons appearing during main story dialogue.
Hotfix 1 addressed H-scene dialogue continuing immediately when rapidly pressing advance, and corrected the owl-form butler voice ignoring the Voice Volume slider.

August Event-Dialogue Replay — Still Pending
Elniko’s 27 July thank-you letter (220,000 copies, Silver Top Release) promised August 2026 would add the community’s most-requested event dialogue replay, then more free updates. A sequel / epilogue is in preparation, with a new project reveal by end of 2026. As of 26 August that replay has not appeared as a named Steam news post. Keep using Event Dialogue Replay, Event Gallery (Ghost H after a true-ending clear on v1.0.4.2+), and phone replay until Patch Note 4 lands. Full roadmap: Sequel & Roadmap.
This wiki will not invent patch notes for content that is not in the public changelog.
Collection planning is unchanged: 57 cars, 19 terminals, butler shop, 11 lost-item boxes, prize machines.
